丰台体育中心位于北京西南郊四环路南段岔口地段。总用地30万平方米,用地大致上是呈东西走向的长方形。南北宽310米,东西长760米。其中包括3223席观众的棒垒球场、35000席观众的田径场、3300席观众的体育馆和训练馆以及射击场、棒球俱乐部、游泳场、网球场、足球训练场、篮球场、对外餐厅等项目,总建筑面积6万平方米(表1)。
The Fengtai Sports Center is located in the mouth of the south section of the Fourth Ring Road, southwest of Beijing. The total land area is 300,000 square meters, and the site is roughly a rectangular east-west direction. It is 310 meters wide from north to south and 760 meters long from east to west. Including the 3,023-seat Bar Baseball Stadium, the 35,000-seat track and field stadium, the 3,300-seat stadium and training hall as well as shooting ranges, baseball clubs, swimming pools, tennis courts, football training grounds, basketball courts, and foreign restaurants. The total construction area is 60,000 square meters (Table 1).
