长城国际信息产品(深圳)有限公司(以下简称IIPC)成立于1994年,由IBM与长城计算机集团合资而建,是IBM在中国的唯一PC生产基地,也是IBM eServer x系列服务器在亚洲的唯一生产基地,产品包括eServer x系列服务器、NetVista桌面机、Thinkpad笔记本等全线产品。目前已有员工1500名,拥有包括福田保税区在内的两个厂房,年生产能力超过200万台,IIPC不仅实现IBM PC全系列产品的本地化生产,而且IIPC总经理Jeffrey Gallinat也起了一个非常中国化的名字——高礼彦。今年对高礼彦总经理和IIPC来说有很多历史性时刻:第三季度IIPC的出口销售收入首次超过了国内的销售收入,今年1～9月份出口额比去年同期增长了188％;IIPC的产品已经拓展到了欧洲市场,日前已发出第一批货出口到欧洲;11月13日IIPC第300万台产品下线,今年的产量将超过100万台。IIPC让人涌起的是为“中国造”而自豪的感觉。
Great Wall International Information Products (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as IIPC) was founded in 1994 and is a joint venture between IBM and Great Wall Computer Group. It is the only IBM PC production base in China and the sole manufacturer of IBM eServer x series servers in Asia Base, products include eServer x series servers, NetVista desktops, Thinkpad notebooks and other full range of products. Currently has 1,500 employees, with two factories, including Futian Free Trade Zone, the annual production capacity of more than 200 million units, IIPC not only to achieve a full range of IBM PC localized production, and IIPC general manager Jeffrey Gallinat also played a very Chinese name - Gao Yan. This year, there are many historic moments for General Manager Gao Yiyan and IIPC: For the first time in the third quarter, IIPC’s export sales surpassed the sales revenue in the country. Its export volume in January-September this year increased by 188% over the same period of last year; the products of IIPC Has expanded to the European market, has recently issued the first batch of goods exported to Europe; November 13th IIPC 3000000 products off the assembly line, this year’s production will exceed 1 million units. What makes IIPC exciting is the sense of pride that is made in “Made in China.”
