《乡村八记》是清华大学新闻与传播学院二年级学生李强写的一篇农村调查。本报(即人民日报)原总编辑、清华大学新闻与传播学院院长范敬宜读后认为,作者很自觉地把在学校学到的知识运用到调查研究中去,表现了一个年轻学子应有的勤奋、踏实的作风和认真了解农村、了解国情的科学态度,反映的农村情况有一定的代表性。他把这篇调查寄给了温家宝总理。4月28日,温家宝总理亲笔给范敬宜同志复信,对李强同学的农村调查给予很高评价和热情鼓励,这既体现了温家宝总理对年轻学子的关心、爱护和鼓励,也为党的新闻工作者指出了努力的方向和目标。本报今天发表温家宝总理的信和这篇农村调查的概述,以飨读者,并以此与全国青年学生和新闻界同行共勉。
