1965年在扎伊尔加丹加地区铜钴矿床中发现,1971年才公布研究资料。物理性质呈微小晶体(不超过0.7mm)。沿〔001〕延长,沿(100)呈扁平状,其晶面上有条纹(图34)。对矿物进行了晶体测量(表41)。解理(010)完全。颜色为亮绿色至孔雀绿色。计算比重为4.72。光学性质二轴晶。光性方位为:a∥Np,b∥Nm,c∥Ng;光轴面是(010)。不同波长光测得矿物的折光率(表42)为:Np=1.77,Nm'=1.85,Ng'=1.89。化学性质光谱分析表明,矿物含少量的Pb、Fe、Co、Ni和微量的Mn。根据电子探针(表43)和热重量分析结果得出矿物的化学式为:
Found in the copper and cobalt deposits in Katanga, Zaire, in 1965, research data were not published until 1971. Physical properties were tiny crystals (not more than 0.7mm). Extending along [001], flattened along (100) with streaks on its crystal face (Figure 34). Crystals were measured for minerals (Table 41). Cleavage (010) Complete. The color is bright green to peacock green. The calculated specific gravity is 4.72. Optical properties of two-axis crystal. The optical orientation is: a // Np, b // Nm, c // Ng; the optical axis is (010). The refractive indices of minerals measured at different wavelengths (Table 42) are: Np = 1.77, Nm ’= 1.85, Ng’ = 1.89. Chemical analysis of the spectrum shows that the minerals contain small amounts of Pb, Fe, Co, Ni and trace amounts of Mn. Based on the electron probe (Table 43) and thermogravimetric analysis, the formula for the mineral is:
