微生物肥料发展的背景我国人口多耕地少,且随着人口增长、工业和城市的发展,耕地面积逐年递减。据有关部门统计,2000年我国人均耕地降到1.1亩;大大低于世界人均耕地4.03亩的水平,也低于亚洲人均耕地2.1亩的水平。为此,我国增加农产品产量的唯一可行途径是提高单位面积产量,才能满足工业发展和人口增加对农产品的需求。提高产量与作物品种、肥料、耕作制度、气候条件和管理等多种因素密切相关,其中肥料与产量关系密切,没有充足的肥料,作物产量难以提高,没有足够的粮食和饲料,也就生产不出大量的畜、禽和水产品,因此可以说肥料是作物的粮
