The article titled “Several Problems in the Design of Industrial Plant Structures” published by Comrade Wang Dazun in Volume 6 of Volume 6 of this journal also aroused the sympathy of the author. As stated in Wang Tongzhi’s article, “Our ability is not yet very high. We are still far from the party and the people’s demands on us. There are still many problems in the structure design of industrial plants. We urgently need to study and improve.” Structural design work has been more than a decade ago, especially after the liberation. Is it from a low skill to gradually learn a little, or is it in the stage of imitating?
