A Pd-isatin Schiff base complex immobilized on γ-Fe2O3(Pd-isatin Schiff base-γ-Fe2O3) was synthe-sized and characterized by Fourier transform infrared, scanning electron microscopy, high resolu-tion transmission electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, thermogravimetric gravimetric analysis,inductively-coupled plasma, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, and elemental analysis. It was used as a magnetically reusable Pd catalyst for the Heck and Suzuki cross-coupling reactions.
