笔者先后于1997、1999年在我市顺平县和满城县从事甜玉米生产技术指导工作,其中包括大面积栽培生产和小面积的品种与栽培试验,对甜玉米生产的品种选用、栽培管理、病虫防治、加工处理等技术形成了一定认识,现做总结如下,以便与同行共同研究探讨。一、品种选用两年来先后试种了由中国农科院、北京市农科院、中国农业大学等科研院校选育的九个品种,基本上包括了适于本地区种植的品种。尽管在种植规模上受种源的限制而有明显不同,大的有上百亩,小的只有一亩,但仍可通过对各品种的详细观察比较得出以下结论:生产上宜选用甜玉6号、中甜2号、甜单8号、甜单10号等四个品种。各品种主要性状比较如下:
