我们在1983年10月调查斯氏狸殖吸虫贮存宿主时,发现豪猪Hystrix hodgsoni肺内寄生斯氏狸殖吸虫成虫。成虫寄生于左肺上叶,从两个囊肿中检出3条虫;其中一囊肿趋于钙化,内有肺吸虫虫卵,另一囊中有少量咖啡色液体,镜检可见成堆的虫卵.3条成虫经压片,劳氏液固定,梯度酒精脱水,洋红染色后观察,成虫发育完整,呈桃叶形,最宽处位于体前1/3处,相当于腹吸盘水平略后。虫体长1.58×0.63cm,宽长比为1:2.51。腹吸盘位于体前1/3,大于口吸盘;腹吸盘大小为0.716×0.679mm,口吸盘大小为0.633 ×0.458mm。口吸盘稍后可见短小的食管和向外侧突出的咽,咽连接肠管分左右两支、经三道肠曲后直达虫体末端。

Abdominal suction cup is located in the front 1/3, larger than the mouth suction cup; abdominal suction cup size of 0.716 × 0.679mm, oral suction cup size of 0.633 × 0.458mm.
