美国阿纳海姆消息:Ⅱ型糖尿病患者食用富含-ω3脂肪酸的鱼油后,血中甘油三酯大大下降,高密度脂蛋白(HDL)增加,血小板聚集减少。美国西弗吉尼亚大学医学教授Margaret-J Albrink在美国糖尿病学会的会议上公布了补充鱼油的试验结果。Ⅱ型糖尿病患者的动脉粥样硬化死亡率很高,心肌梗塞、卒中、周围血管病的发病率和死亡率是非糖尿病者的2~4倍。这些疾病易感性的增加常与血浆甘油三酯升高、HDL减少及血小板聚集增加有关,而且这些病人经常患有高血压。
Anaheim, USA: After eating fish oil rich in omega-3 fatty acids, type II diabetics significantly reduce blood triglycerides, increase HDL, and decrease platelet aggregation. Margaret-J Albrink, a professor of medicine at the University of West Virginia in the United States, announced the results of a trial of fish oil supplementation at a meeting of the American Diabetes Society. Patients with type 2 diabetes have a high mortality rate of atherosclerosis. The incidence and mortality of myocardial infarction, stroke and peripheral vascular disease are two to four times higher than those without diabetes. The increased susceptibility to these diseases is often associated with elevated plasma triglycerides, decreased HDL, and increased platelet aggregation, and these patients often have high blood pressure.
