Since ventricular contraction is a major part of the contracting heart, the phase analysis of cardiac work divides the heart cycle into several phases. The reason that phase analysis is important is that it evaluates the fitness of cardiac function in a variety of physiological or pathological conditions. Materials and Methods 18 heads of calves weighing 75 to 120 kg were used.
