时代巨轮滚滚向前。跨人飞驰电掣的21世纪,迈进WTO的世界门槛,中国企业已义无反顾地卷入全球性的激烈竞争。彼德·圣吉创立的学习型组织理论犹如划破夜空的灿烂星辰,为众多尚在混沌中摸索的组织廓清了道路。江泽民总书记提出的“构筑终身教育体系,创建学习型社会”的主张,更为学习型组织的创建实践指明了方向。近年来,莱钢集团公司领导班子审时度势,干部职工上下同欲,在集团公司范围内广泛深入地掀起了创建学习型组织的热潮,学习型组织理念在莱钢已产生了春风化雨般的效果。为此,中国企业家调查系统、上海明德学习型组织研究所、山东省经贸委、山东省冶金工业总公司等有关部门先后在莱钢召开研讨会和现场会,总结推广莱钢经验。榜样的力量是无穷的。莱钢的实践充分证明,学习型组织作为一种科学的管理理论,一旦被具有远见卓识的企业家和广大职工群众所接受。一旦与中国的国情和企情相结合,便会化作巨大的物质力量和精神财富。本期所编发的这组记者采写的文章,希望能为尚处于探索中的企业提供一种思路,一种范例,以便能更快地摆脱传统的桎梏,走向明天的辉煌。
The era wheel rolled forward. In the 21st century, which crossed the ranks of people in the world, and entered the WTO’s entry into the world, Chinese companies have been reluctantly involved in global fierce competition. The learning organization theory that Peter Singer founded is like breaking through the bright stars of the night sky, clearing the way for many organizations still groping in chaos. The proposal made by General Secretary Jiang Zemin to “build a lifelong education system and create a learning society” has pointed out the direction for the establishment of learning organizations. In recent years, the leadership of the Laiwu Iron and Steel Group has reviewed the situation, and the cadres and employees have the same desire. They have created an upsurge in the creation of learning organizations in a wide range of companies. The learning organization concept has produced a spring-like effect at Laiwu Steel. To this end, the China Entrepreneurs Survey System, the Shanghai Mingde Institute for Learning Organizations, the Shandong Provincial Economic and Trade Commission, the Shandong Metallurgical Industry Corporation and other relevant departments have successively held seminars and on-site meetings at Laiwu Steel to summarize and promote the experience of Laiwu Steel. The power of example is endless. The practice of Laiwu Iron and Steel fully demonstrates that learning organizations, as a scientific management theory, are once accepted by entrepreneurs with vision and insight and by the masses of workers and staff. Once it is integrated with China’s national conditions and enterprise conditions, it will be transformed into huge material strength and spiritual wealth. The articles written by this group of reporters compiled in this issue hope to provide an idea and an example for enterprises that are still in the process of exploration so that they can get rid of the traditional paradox and move toward tomorrow’s glory.
