沈阳至大连高速公路是国家“七五”期间重点建设项目之一,也是交通部“七五”期间重点改造的27条公路之一。这条高速公路纵贯辽东半岛,连接沈阳、辽阳、鞍山、营口、大连五大工业城市,连通大连港、营口鱼圈港、营口港和鞍山钢铁公司、辽河油田,对辽东半岛的对外开放和吉林、龙口、内蒙东部地区的经济发展具有十分重要意义。 (一) 沈阳至大连原有公路全长422公里,穿越五个市的城区,并且技术标准低,行车拥挤,
Shenyang-Dalian Expressway is one of the key construction projects during the “Seventh Five-Year Plan” period of the country and one of 27 highways under the “Seventh Five-Year Plan” period of the Ministry of Communications. The highway runs through the Liaodong Peninsula and connects Shenyang, Liaoyang, Anshan, Yingkou and Dalian to five major industrial cities. It connects Dalian Port, Yingkou Yuhuan Port, Yingkou Port, Anshan Iron and Steel Company and Liaohe Oilfield. It is open to the outside world of Liaodong Peninsula and Jilin , Longkou, eastern Inner Mongolia’s economic development is of great significance.
