3Com“迎接21世纪统一网络大展”于1999年1月27日、28日在北京中国大饭店隆重举行。 展览期间,3Com副总裁、核心系统部总经理Nachman Shelef向来宾发表了题为“统一网络将会怎样改变您的生活”的主题演讲,讲述了实现统一网络的步骤、必经的技术转变、3Com的全面解决方案、合作策略以及典型的统一网络案例,生动描述出统一网络应用为新生活带来的美好图景。 每年400亿美元的全球远程通讯市场和每年400亿美元的通讯设备市场推动着统一网络的发展。Shelef先生认为,要想使统一网络迅速发展,必须进一步解除各国现有的电信管制并进而在全球市场中引入竞争。
3Com’s “Welcome to the 21st Century Unified Network Exhibition” was held on January 27 and 28, 1999 at the China World Hotel in Beijing. During the exhibition, Nachman Shelef, 3Com’s vice president and general manager of the core system department, delivered a keynote speech titled “How Uniform Networks Will Change Your Life”. It talked about the steps to achieve a unified network, the necessary technological changes, and 3Com. The comprehensive solution, cooperation strategy and typical unified network case vividly describe the beautiful picture brought by the unified network application for the new life. The $40 billion annual global telecommunications market and the $40 billion annual communications equipment market drive the development of a unified network. Mr. Shelef believes that in order for the unified network to develop rapidly, it is necessary to further dismantle the existing telecommunications controls in each country and then introduce competition into the global market.
