注意是心理活动对一定事物的指向和集中。当人们注意了某件事情,就会调动自己的生理器官去了解它,记忆它、思维它,尽量去掌握它。因此,在地理教学中,我们应尽量让教学内容引起学生的注意,促使学生掌握教学内容,提高教学效果。 注意可分为有意注意和无意注意。长期以来,由于升学考试不考,地理课被人们认为是可有可无的副科,学不学无所谓。学生学地理目的不明确,对地理知识的有意注意的因素就少。因此,无意注意在地理教学中就显得特别重要。教师应当通过激发学生的无意注意并转化为有意注意,达到提高地理教学质量的目的。实践证明,新、趣、美、动的刺激强度大,能引起人
Attention is the direction and concentration of certain psychological activities.
