朱湘的新诗创作受到英国浪漫主义诗人的影响。《夏天》作为自然之歌使人想到大自然的歌手华兹华斯 ;《草莽集》受到柯勒律治、济慈等的影响 ,讲求格律与音韵 ,排除文学的社会功利主义 ,并因为强调国家文化主义而带上浓浓的东方古典意境 ;《石门集》以西诗移植而著称 ,朱湘诗魂走出国门在世界范围内漫游 ,但始终没有冲出自我。朱湘在诗歌领域里所做出的种种大胆尝试和美学追求对中国文学的发展和世界文学的交流均有所贡献。
Zhu Xiang’s creation of new poems is influenced by British romantic poets. “Summer” as the song of nature reminds us of nature’s singer Wordsworth; “rash set” is influenced by Coleridge’s law and Keats, emphasizing the law and phonology, excluding the social utilitarianism of literature and emphasizing National culturalism and bring a strong oriental classical mood; “Shihmen Ji” is known for transplanting poems in the West, Zhu Xiang poetic soul out of the country in the world roaming, but never out of self. Zhu Xiang’s bold attempts in the field of poetry and the pursuit of aesthetics all contribute to the development of Chinese literature and the exchange of world literature.
