今年两会期间,黄书元委员再度为书业同仁发声,提出“对出版发行企业给予免税政策提高国际竞争力”和“依托新知华文书局建设国际电影电视放映中心,强化文化传播阵地建设”等提案。2015年年初,一场在柬埔寨首都金边首相府举办的《习近平谈治国理政》英文版推介研讨会,使全国政协委员、人民出版社社长黄书元留意到了中华文化海外传播的一个重要阵地——海外华文书局。从此,海外华文书局的命运也成为了他心中的挂牵。
