At present, meteorites are an important source of data on the evolution of the solar system, despite the direct detection of some external celestial bodies. This is because meteorites preserve important chemical and isotopic records in the early stages of the evolution of the solar system that have been greatly damaged by subsequent igneous events on many planets. First, the Hollmayer Meteorite Mineral Resources Agency (BMR) has recently acquired 58 new meteorites in the Broken Hill area, many of which were discovered and donated by Werner Hollmayer (called BMR Holl mayer meteorite). Last year, the Bureau of Mineral Resources, in collaboration with the University of Adelaide, began researching these meteorites.
