英语课堂传统教学模式中,更多的是采用“以教师为中心”的教学模式,虽然能够发挥教师的积极引导作用,能够让教学活动的开展在教师的引领下进行,但是却限制了学生主动性的发挥,难以让学生主动地投入到英语学习过程中来。“以学生为中心”的教学模式便是针对“以教师为中心”教学模式的弊端,所提出的新式教学方法,其让学生成为课堂教学的主要参与者,让学生与教师更好地沟通和交流,让学生的主动性得以发挥。
