制种量低(一般亩产种子约3公斤)是三倍体无籽西瓜大面积生产的主要障碍之一。单位面积上的西瓜种子产量,是由瓜数、单瓜种子粒数和粒重构成的。因此,必须研究单位面积适宜瓜数与种植株数和留蔓数,以及留瓜节位与单瓜种子粒数的关系,为高产制种技术提供依据。为此,我们于1984—1986年在本院试验地进行小区试验,并在连县作了小面积的示范试验,初步摸清在广东高温高湿的生态条件下,三倍体西瓜制种的适宜栽培密度、留蔓方式及结瓜节位,提出一个较高产、省工、高纯度的制种技术措施,以供生产上参考。
The low seed production (generally about 3 kg of seed per mu) is one of the major obstacles to the large-scale production of triploid seedless watermelon. Therefore, in 1984-1986, we experimented on plots in our hospital and conducted a small area demonstration experiment in Lian County to find out clearly that under the conditions of high temperature and high humidity in Guangdong, Suitable for planting density, leaving vine and knot knot node, put forward a higher yield, labor, high purity seed production technical measures for production reference.
