The Upper Paleozoic gas reservoirs in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia basin have the characteristics of deep basin gas reservoirs. The structure of the basin is gentle, the reservoirs are tight sandstone, gas is generally in the middle of the basin, there is no bottom water and edge water in gas reservoirs, Sedimentary coal seam and dark mudstone. In order to further confirm that the Ordos Basin is a deep-basin gas reservoir with its own characteristics, the underground technical operation of Changqing Petroleum Exploration Bureau was conducted in 1998 on 8 wells in different areas of the basin
