肉瘤的定义或概念可找出许多不同的提法,例如: 1、肉瘤是结缔组织来源的恶性肿瘤。Dorland医学词典中说“肉瘤是由胚胎性结缔组织样物质所构成的肿瘤……常属高度恶性。2、肉瘤是中胚层来源的恶性肿瘤。3、肉瘤是非上皮性恶性肿瘤。4、肉瘤是“间叶组织”(间充质)的恶性肿瘤。国际抗癌协会(UICC)在《临床肿瘤学》一书中,也称“肉瘤是间叶组织的恶性肿瘤”(P.28),但在同书P.34又说“肉瘤是起源于间充质或结缔组织的恶性肿瘤”。5、肉瘤是中胚层非上皮性恶性肿瘤。
The definition or concept of sarcoma can be found in many different ways, for example: 1. Sarcoma is a malignant tumor of connective tissue origin. The Dorland medical dictionary states that “sarcomas are tumors composed of embryonic connective tissue-like substances... They are often highly malignant. 2. Sarcomas are malignant tumors of mesodermal origin. 3. Sarcomas are non-epithelial malignancies. 4. Sarcomas are ”Maloid tissue“ (mesenchymal) malignant tumors. The International Anticancer Association (UICC) in the ”Clinical Oncology“ book, also called ”sarcoma is a malignant tumor of the mesenchymal tissue“ (P.28), but In the same book P.34, we also say that ”sarcomas are malignant tumors that originate from mesenchymal or connective tissue." 5. Sarcomas are mesodermal non-epithelial malignancies.
