2008年3月18日,广西乐坛德高望重的一代宗师、著名音乐教育家、理论作曲教授、广西艺术学院建校元老徐月初先生永远离开了我们。自此,广艺院内,不再听到他浑厚的声音;八桂大地,也不再见到他忙碌的身影。从1958年由上海音乐学院毕业派至“广西艺专”任教,弹指一挥间,徐月初教授在边疆广西执教了整整50年,50年间的万般艰辛和点点收获,无不时刻感动着周围的每一人。
On March 18, 2008, Mr. Xu Yuechu, the eldest son of the Guangxi Academy of Arts, was forever left with us, a guru of prestigious music in Guangxi, a famous music educator and a professor of theoretical composition. Since then, Canton Arts Institute, no longer hear his vigorous voice; eight land, no longer see his busy figure. From 1958 graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music to the “Guangxi Arts ” taught, play, Xiamen University in front of Professor Xu Yuechu taught a full 50 years, 50 years of all the hardships and little gain, all the moment touched around Everyone.
