Japan’s Ministry of Transport has set up a committee for the railway technology research institute (RTRI) super. Maglev to find the magnet to choose a long distance test line. Expected construction costs 400 billion yen (about 3 billion US dollars) ~ 500 billion yen. The Ministry of Transport intends to invest 180 billion yen to conduct feasibility studies on test routes.
