敬啟者: 你們寫給地學團體研究部會的信已經收到了。請推揣一下我等青年一代的地質學工作者全體在接到來信時的感激與愉快的心情吧! 戰後,在日本地質學會的講演會上所發表的有關中國地質的論文共有23篇:華中(2),華北(8),東北(15)。使我們不能忘記的就是發表這些研究的地質工作者,大部分是在過去日本帝國主義的錯誤影響下,在中國曾經工作過的人們。當然這些人都存有學問上的良心,並且是有學問的人,但是他們沒有考慮過“爲誰而學”這一問題。但是,在這兒討論這些問題,我覺得下大恰當,因此,僅就我們所知道的,把學會的消息簡單地報告
Dear Sirs, The letter you have sent to the Geoscience Research Group has been received. Please postpone the gratitude and joy of the young geologists such as me when they received the letters! After the war, a total of 23 papers on geology in China published at the Japan Geological Society’s lecture: Central China (2), North China (8), Northeast (15). What we can not forget is that the geologists who published these studies are mostly those who used to work in China under the mistakes of Japanese imperialism in the past. Of course, these people have a learned conscience, and are knowledgeable people, but they did not consider the “for whom to learn” issue. However, I think it is appropriate to discuss these issues here, so we simply report what we know about what we learned
