齐花坦1937年11月出生,河北高阳人。1949年参加工作。曾任河北省戏剧家协会理事,河北省政协常委,河北省首位获得“戏剧终身成就奖”的艺术家,中国共产党第十五次全国代表大会代表,享受国务院特殊津贴专家,第一批国家级非物质文化遗产传承人之一。1949年参加工作,1950年开始向贾桂兰、桂三宝等名家学唱河北梆子,当时排出的《相思树》、《婉香与紫燕》等剧目有很大影响。1954年全省戏曲汇演,她主演的《拾玉镯》荣获演出一等奖。1960年在电影《再生记》中成功地塑造了主角黄梅英。在《宝莲灯》一剧中饰演三圣母,演遍京、津、冀、沪等大城市,并多次受到毛泽东、周恩来、朱德等党和国家
