远志是传统中医用于治疗阿尔茨海默病（ AD）的重要中药，具有安神益智等功效。近十几年来中药受重视程度增加，使远志研究逐渐增加并取得明显进步。远志之所以在治疗 AD 中发挥重要的神经保护作用，除了抗炎、抗氧化、抑制细胞凋亡以及促进神经元增殖或再生等作用外，还具有调控异常Tau蛋白与胆碱能系统的作用，更重要是可降低β淀粉样蛋白和谷氨酸的神经毒性。“,”Polygala tenuifolia,one of the traditional Chinese medicines′Yuanzhi′,has an important role in Alzheimer disease (AD) treatment in China.It′s used as tonic,sedative and dementia preventing agents. During the last decades along with the increased emphasis of Chinese medicine ,studies on Polygala tenuifolia hasincreased gradually and achieved significant progress.Studies have shown that it can prevent nerve cell from injuring through not only anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, inhibiting apoptosis and promoting neuronal regeneration effect,but also regulating Tau proteins and cholinergic system ,and mitigating βamyamyloid pro-tein and glutamate neurotoxicity.
