It is a shameful thing for AIDS patients in poor countries to die without new medical treatment. The Secretary-General of the UNESCO, Mayor, said in his speech on “World AIDS Day” on December 1. “From a medical point of view, this is also insecure. HIV has been shown to mutate rapidly. The spread of this horrible infectious disease in developing countries may end up endangering each and every one of us. Because the more People are afflicted with AIDS, and the more likely it is that HIV will become more aggressive, the more likely it is to be resistant to new medical treatments.”
