《上海档案》已走过了十年路程。 《上海档案》的档案,记录了她十年行色匆匆的步履: 1985年1月,《上海档案》双月刊创刊号问世,内部发行。 1989年1月,《上海档案》开始向社会公开发行。 1990年7月,《上海档案》、《档案与历史》两刊合并,改为《上海档案工作》。 1991年7月,《上海档案工作》开始向境外、国外发行,首批订阅者来自美国、英国、法国日本以及香港、台湾等国家和地区。 1991年12月,《上海档案工作》被权威部门同时评定为档案学、档案事业类和历史类的核心期刊。 1992年l月,《上海档案工作》被列入了世界著名检索期刊美国的《历史文摘》,发表的文章在美国的《历史文摘》和《美国历史与生活》上备有摘要和索引。
