At my doorstep, I stared at the face of 23-year-old son Daniel, his backpack on the side. We are about to say goodbye, a few hours later, he is about to fly to France, where at least a year’s time. He wants to learn another language, French, and experience a new life in a whole new kingdom. This is a transitional period in Daniel’s life and is the first step he took from entering the adult world from the ivory tower. I hope to give him a few words, a few words that will benefit him for life. But I can not even say a word. Our house is located by the sea, now silent in the house.
