Du Lala’s story is based on the real experiences of author, Li Ke, who has been working ten years in the China office of a big multi-national company. She wrote the book with the hope of sharing her ideas to help those with big career dreams succeed under heavy work pressure.
Some people say that for Chinese youth, Du Lala’s story is even more meaningful than the story of Bill Gates, as it shows the reality of many young Chinese office workers. After the movie Go Lala Go was released, it attracted tens of thousands of audiences to the theatre to watch the story of the successful career woman.
