台湾“经济部”针对两岸产业竞争态势所做的分析称,发现海峡两岸的产品在国际市场上的替代竞争性急剧升高,未来在国际市场上,台湾可能被大陆取代的产品,将占1993年台湾总出口值849亿美元中的20.56％。其中,又以木竹制品、杂项工业、成衣服饰品制造业,有四成以上的国际市场将被大陆产品取代,而纺织业有三成被大陆取代,另外皮革制品、运输工具业等产业受到中国大陆具竞争力产品取代的冲击也不小。
