芽梢是构成产量的基础,收获的对象。它们在茶树采摘面上是如何分布的?不同树冠形状的采摘面对芽梢的分布和产量构成有否影响?为此,我们把条栽福鼎种茶树树冠修剪成三种不同形状——水平型、弧型、屋脊型;将树冠中心至茶行两边采摘面划分成50×20cm~2的采摘小框,每次采摘时分别记载小框内的芽数及产量。茶树树冠经不同的整形后差异明显,由于修剪,水平型树冠较强地抑制了顶端生长优势,促使枝条侧面横向发展,表现为树的高度较低,而树幅最宽;弧型及屋脊型是顺树势修剪,顶端生长优势抑制较轻,尤其是屋脊型的屋顶更促使了顶端生长,因此屋脊型茶树最高而树幅最小。树冠采摘幅则由于弧型及屋脊型采摘面均有一个弧度,因此采摘幅的差距相对
