学名及科属绯牡丹Gymnocalyciumfriedrichii‘Rubra’,仙人掌科裸萼球属植物。花期球体呈大红、紫红、洋红、朱红色、黄色较稀少。在砧木管理良好时终年色彩艳丽。夏秋两季开粉红或浓桃红色花。最佳购买月份 3月,此时砧木比较健壮可靠。适宜摆放位置向阳窗口。最好朝南,距玻璃30～50厘米。如盆株系新上盆或刚倒过盆的,则一开始宜离玻璃1米,逐步推向前。基本习性温度生长适温15℃～32℃。但能耐40℃高温和2℃低温(在盆土干燥情况下)。湿度要求60％～75％。冬季如室内温度低,应保持相对干燥。
