药用苦参是豆科槐属植物普参(Sophora Flayes-cens Ait)的干燥根。有清热燥湿之功效。近代药理实验证明,苦参具有抗癌、平喘和抗心律不齐等作用。本实验用生物碱系从苦参根中提取分离得到,经熔点、紫外光谱、红外光谱、核磁共振谱、质谱等,确定为以下6种化合物:苦参碱(Matrine),氧化苦参碱(Oxymatrine),槐果碱(Sophocarpine),氧化槐果碱(Oxysophocarpine),槐定碱(sophoridine)和槐醇
Medicinal Sophora flavescens is a dry root of Sophora Flayes-cens Ait. There is heat and dampness.
