黔南布依族苗族自治州位于贵州省的西南部,是贵州的南大门的西南出海的重要通道。自治州成立于1956年, 辖都匀、福泉二市和瓮安、贵安、龙里、惠水、长顺、罗旬、平塘、荔波、独山、三都十县。南北长249.5公里,东西宽207.6 公里,总面积26197平方公里;总人口393万,其中有少数民族人口214万,占55%。首府都匀,是全州政治、经济、文化中心。
Qiannan Buyi and Miao Autonomous Prefecture is located in the southwest of Guizhou Province, Guizhou South Gate is an important channel to the southwest. Autonomous Prefecture was established in 1956, under the jurisdiction of Duyun, Fuquan two cities and Weng’an, Guian, Longli, Huishui, Changshun, Luo Xun, Pingtang, Libo, Dushan, Sandu ten counties. 249.5 kilometers long from north to south, east-west width of 207.6 kilometers, with a total area of 26197 square kilometers; the total population of 3.93 million, of which 2.14 million ethnic minorities, accounting for 55%. Duyun capital, is the state political, economic and cultural center.
