Autoimmune diseases (AIDs) are chronic inflammatory diseases caused by an autoimmune response. Most of these diseases are unknown and may be related to genetic, infection and environmental factors. Interleukin-33 (IL-33), as an inflammatory cytokine, regulates the immune response through the IL-33 / ST2 signaling pathway and thus participates in the development and progression of the disease. The course of AID is generally longer and repeatedly postponed, clinical treatment is difficult. To study the relationship between IL-33 and AID provides a new direction for studying the pathogenesis of AID, diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
