106勘探队祁恆昌同志提出了改进200/40型水泵三叉的新結構,克服了过去三叉不易对准缸套端部位置,使三叉失效而发生缸套串动的毛病。同时由于新三叉是用鋼板制作的,这样也減少了損坏率。新三叉(如图)是用鋼板切成直徑为200公厘,厚为15公厘之圓盤。再在爐中加热进行鍛制,以后在三等分圓周上鑽三个φ15的鑽孔,插入三个穿釘,成靜配合。另外在图示的位置上,鑽有二个φ20孔,用以手指取下和按裝方便。
