1994年2月调到新华社苏州支社时,我30岁,已在四川分社工作了8年多,虽然此前从未到过苏州,但我坚信这里的经济、文化都很发达,新闻资源一定极为丰富。
When I was 30 years old in Suzhou Branch of Xinhua News Agency in February 1994, I had been in Sichuan Branch for more than eight years. Although I had never been to Suzhou before, I firmly believe that the economy and culture here are very developed and the news resources must be extremely rich.
