广东美术馆于1997年11月28日开馆,至今已走过15周年。15年来,广东美术馆立足本土,关注国内,加强国际交流的思路,以广东美术、中国近现代美术以及当代艺术为收藏重点,凭着对文化历史的尊重,从无到有,以独立的学术品格和收藏定位,努力承担起对艺术保存和传播的责任,为推动广东省的美术发展和中国当代艺术的发展作出了应有的贡献。为纪念广东美术馆15周年筚路蓝缕的路程,我们特举办“风·雅·颂——广东美术馆开馆15周年馆藏精品展”。
Guangdong Art Museum opened on November 28, 1997 and has passed its 15th anniversary. Over the past 15 years, Guangdong Museum of Art, based on the local community, has paid close attention to the domestic and international exchange ideas, focusing on Guangdong art, modern and contemporary Chinese art as well as contemporary art. With respect for cultural history, Character and collection orientation, and strive to assume responsibility for the preservation and dissemination of art, and make due contributions to promoting the development of art in Guangdong Province and the development of Chinese contemporary art. In commemoration of the 15th anniversary of the Guangdong Museum of Art, we held a special exhibition entitled “Wind Elegant Accord - The 15th Anniversary Exhibition of Guangdong Art Museum”.
