如今全世界每年出版近70万种期刊,60余万种新书,登记40多万项专利,新增期刊近万种,发表科技文献500多万篇,编写25万份学术报告,学位论文等。全球有900多万个电视台、几十万个微波通讯塔、几力个雷达站、30多万个民用电台,以及随时在增加的移动电话和终端电脑……网络、电视、电话等现代通讯网络遍及全球各地,新闻、观点、调查、数据分析、广告、预言、传闻等难以数计的各种信息像急风暴雨般扑来,数量之多,更新之快,令人眼花缭乱。于是,一个新概念——信息污染,应运而生。
