“农业主要是粮食问题,是影响今后整个经济发展的几个主要问题之一”。1984年浙江全省粮食总产量达1815万吨,人均占有粮为455公斤,为历史上最高产年份。而1985年粮食总产量下降至1620万吨,比1984年减产195万吨,减产率为10.8％。1986年粮食总产量为1605万吨,又比上年减产约15万吨。粮食产量的连续两年下降,使全省供求情况出现紧张状况,市场议价粮食价格上涨,从而引起人们普遍对粮食生产的关注。
“Agriculture is mainly a matter of food and one of the few major problems that will affect the entire economic development in the future.” In 1984, the province’s total grain output reached 18.15 million tons, with a per capita grain consumption of 455 kilograms, making it the most productive year in history. However, the total grain output in 1985 dropped to 16.2 million tons, down 1.95 million tons from 1984 and the rate of decrease was 10.8%. The total grain output in 1986 was 16.05 million tons, a further 150,000 tons less than the previous year. The two consecutive years of decline in grain output have led to tension in supply and demand across the province, and bargain-hunting in the market has caused food prices to rise, causing widespread concern over food production.
