2005年底,中国将建成世界上最大的IPv6网络。统计数据显示,从2005年到2010年,我国电信运营商在IPv6路由器上的投资,将累计达到150亿元。CERNET专家委员会主任、清华大学教授吴建平认为,IPv6的网络未来可以替代正在受到全球瞩目的3G电信网络,而IPv6商用后的市场价值也将超过3G。但是,我们也清醒地看到,目前IPv6设备的性能还不及IPv4的性能,IPv6网的性能还达不到目前IPv4网的性能,仅靠IPv6也还解决不了IP网的三大顽疾——商业模型问题、安全问题和服务质量问题。
By the end of 2005, China will build the largest IPv6 network in the world. Statistics show that from 2005 to 2010, China’s telecom operators in IPv6 router investment, will reach 15 billion yuan. Wu Jianping, director of CERNET’s expert committee and professor at Tsinghua University, believes that the IPv6 network will replace the 3G telecommunications network that is attracting worldwide attention in the future, and the commercial value of IPv6 will exceed 3G. However, we are also soberly aware that at present the performance of IPv6 devices is not as good as that of IPv4. The performance of IPv6 networks still falls short of the performance of current IPv4 networks. IPv6 alone can not solve the three major problems of IP networks. Model problem, safety problem and service quality problem.
