This paper points out that when using flame atomic absorption spectrometry uranium, the addition of certain metal ions in the solution can increase the sensitivity. The most effective addition of gallium ion, when added 10 mg gallium / ml, its sensitivity than pure uranium solution increased about four times. As little as 0.5 micrograms of uranium can be analyzed by means of injection. In addition, a method of extracting uranium enriched with a very effective triphenylarsenoxide-chloroform solution in combination with atomic absorption spectrometry is introduced, which in most cases can further reduce the detection limit of the method.
