金钱草及滿天星近年来在治疗胆结石及肝炎方面已經取得了显著疗效,各地报导逐漸增多,說明全国医药界在重视祖国医药遗产的思想基础上已开始探索祖国药物的另一宝庫——民間草药方面的秘密了,这是一件極为可喜的事。关于金錢草的效用远者如本草綱目拾遺,近者如中国药学大辞典均有零星記載。药学大辞典并引有谬永祺治验案三例。另有蕭熙轉述治验一例。但因我国幅員广大,过去对于金錢草一物又少人注意,因此同名金錢草而植物却十分差異的情况严重存在。1958及1959年先后有叶橘泉及謝宗万先生
