在各种语言中,一词多义现象是普遍存在的,它表达了人们复杂的思想感情,使语言丰富多彩,提高了词语的使用效率和使用频率。从心理学角度来剖析一词多义的现象,不仅有助于解释和理解多种词义,而且有助于使用和猜测词的新义。一、各种感觉的相通性与词义的扩展 当人们用自己的各个感官从不同角度去体察、感受不同的事物时,不但这些感觉有相通之处,而且在描述上也有相通之处,因而一个词就有了多个含义。
In all languages, the word polysemy is ubiquitous. It expresses the complicated thoughts and emotions of people, makes the language rich and colorful, and improves the efficiency and frequency of use of words. Analyzing the phenomenon of polysemy from the perspective of psychology not only helps to explain and understand many kinds of meaning but also helps us to use and guess new meanings of words.
