Shanghai Northern Jiangsu people suffered poverty and backwardness and suffered long-term discrimination from Shanghai society. In fact, most of the early Northern Jiangsu-Shanghai immigrants were rich sand-owners and merchants. They built both fellow-peasant associations and fellow-peasant associations and carried out rich charity and relief work. Among them, fellow associations run until the founding of new China Early. After the late 19th century, traders in northern Jiangsu were bankrupt in the face of brutal competition from their counterparts both at home and abroad. With the deteriorating living conditions in northern Jiangsu, a large number of bankrupt northern immigrants poured into Shanghai and became the main force of the working class under the influence of geography and origin. The evolution of early Northern Jiangsu Ludong immigrants associations reflected the social changes of Shanghai cities, the formation of the Northern Jiangsu ethnic groups and the gradual and clear class differentiation from one aspect.
