In order to reduce the environmental pollution of harmful substances in open-pit mines and to pay huge pollution fees for this purpose as well as to reduce the floor space and large amount of land-use fees, the Kursk magnetic anomaly mining company conducted an industrial test to replace the open-pit mine with underground mines.
