语篇是指任何不完全受句子语法约束的在一定语境下表示完整语义的自然语言,是实际使用的语言单位。本文从介绍语篇理论的核心内容“衔接”与“连贯”出发,提出了培养语篇能力是提高学习者语言能力的关键这一观点,并阐述了语篇教学思想对于英语教学的启示。
