我国西部地区在实施西部开发战略过程中,将面临知识经济的挑战和机遇。西部开发战略一旦和知识经济有机地结合起来,起点就会更高,发展速度就会更快。本文就知识经济对西部大开发带来的机遇和挑战以及如何发展知识经济谈一点初浅看法。一、知识经济对西部大开发带来机遇和挑战1.关于知识经济的概念知识经济是一个全新的经济概念。“所谓知识经济是建立在知识和信息的生产、分配和使用基础上的经济”。也有人认为,知识经济是指以现代科学技术为核心,建立在知识和技术的生产、储存、流通和消费上的经济。
